The world's original digital music pirate lost its cool when it went legit. And lost its profile altogether when iTunes came along. We helped rebuild the business by stealing back some cred.

"Napster Girl" was a cult online phenomenon in the UK and US. Raunchy demos of Napster's advantages versus simple download stores created the platform for a continuous increase in image ratings and subscription revenues.

"Napster Girl" achieved editorial and blogging coverage in 44 countries. The launch film was, in terms of unique plays, the UK No 1 viral video of the year, with some 10 million plays and over 30 million globally. Branded content extensions like our limited edition photographic prints, Casting Couch video and eBay underwear auction,
further broadened the franchise.

By Q1 2007, Napster secured leadership of the global digital music subscription market.
